TN-730, 760, 770 Toner Reset Instruction

Description: 

The reset gear on the toner cartridge did not properly contact and reset the New Toner Sensor within the printer. The reset gear will operate only once after the toner cartridge is installed and the position of the gear cannot be reset after installation. To reset the Toner Life Display, a manual reset procedure must be performed.

Solution:

The following steps will need to be performed to manually reset the toner life. Please click the link to find the video for reference.

1. Open the front cover. 

2. Press the "Back " and "GO" buttons at the same time, and hold for 1 to 2 second, when you released 2 buttons, press the "Back " button again at once. The printer will go to the reset page 

3. Press "- or +" button to select "TNR-HC" and press "OK" button to confirm, the printer will display "Reset /Exit". 

4. Press the "-" button to confirm to reset the toner counter, The printer will display "Accepted". Close the front cover to finish the reset process.
