TN-730, 760, 770 Toner Reset Instruction

Description: 

The reset gear on the toner cartridge did not properly contact and reset the New Toner Sensor within the printer. The reset gear will operate only once after the toner cartridge is installed and the position of the gear cannot be reset after installation. To reset the Toner Life Display, a manual reset procedure must be performed.

Solution:

The following steps will need to be performed to manually reset the toner life. Please click the link to find the video for reference.

1. Open the front cover. 

2. Press the "Clear" and "Stop" button, hold it for 1 to 2 second. When you releasing 2 buttons, press the "Clear" button again at once. The printer will go to the toner counter reset page.

3. Press the arrow button "up" or "Down" to select the display to "K. TNR-HC", press the "OK" button to confirm.

4. When the printer displaying the confirmation page "Reset / Exit", press the "UP" arrow button to confirm to reset the toner counter. When the printer display "Accepted" , close the front cover to finish the reset process.
