TN-730, 760, 770 Toner Reset Instruction

Description: 

The reset gear on the toner cartridge did not properly contact and reset the New Toner Sensor within the printer. The reset gear will operate only once after the toner cartridge is installed and the position of the gear cannot be reset after installation. To reset the Toner Life Display, a manual reset procedure must be performed.

Solution:

The following steps will need to be performed to manually reset the toner life. Please click the link to find the video for reference.

1. Open the front cover. 

2. Press the "Return" and "Cancel " buttons at the same time, hold for 1 to 2 second, after releasing 2 buttons, press the "Return" button again at once. The reset manual will appears. 

3. Press the "Arrow" button on the touchscreen to select the item "TNR-HC".  Press on the item "TNR-HC" go to the reset page. 

4. Press the "Yes" button on the touchscreen to confirm reset. The printer will display "Accepted" close the front cover to finish the reset process.
